Created during my exchange program in Düsseldorf, this project involved designing a complete visual identity for the Rhein Marathon, an annual running competition held in the city. The primary objective was to build a playful, energetic, and dynamic identity that captures the spirit of the event through the strategic use of contrasting color combinations and forms.
To anchor the brand, I began by designing a custom typeface from scratch. This bespoke typography became the structural foundation for the entire project, directly informing and generating the secondary visual elements and layouts across the identity system.
